New development: Suffolk

We are currently in the process of making offers on two sites in Suffolk.

The County Council’s strategy for housing with care for older people shows significant gaps in provision across the county.

We are working closely with social care commissioners to identify where and how we can help to fill these gaps.

We are in the midst of making offers on two sites – one on the coast and the other in a market town – which could potentially provide more that 100 purpose-built units for older people.

The County Council will have direct control over allocations to these apartments, thus ensuring that they provide a realistic direct alternative to extra care.
